The Magician Chassis Build

Step 1: The parts arrive:

 *The 2nd step was already assembled here, I apologise, I got excited and forgot to take pictures.

And that's it, for the magician chassis! Easy to build but some parts were cheap and took force to fit properly. I've decided I may replace the battery pack with a 6 AA battery pack to allow for longer life and for better build quality. 

I apologise for camera quality, I only had a Iphone at hand. 

The Plan...

What I'm planning to do is purchase both a RaspiRobot Board and the Magician Chassis, and put them both together in to a simple programmable robot. As easy as that, I hope. The tutorials I'm going to use are those by Simon Monk (https://github.com/simonmonk/raspirobotboard). I'm going to make the basic robot, then maybe go for something more impressive and try to add a Ultrasonic sensor or something along those lines to try to make it a little more exciting!

What's this all about?

The idea behind my project is using the Raspberry Pi to try and create a simple robot. The Raspberry Pi is a extremely versatile and popular way of getting coding out to the masses. I purchased my Model B Raspberry Pi board back when they first came out and there was a 2 month waiting list!
